Vinted Members Share Displeasure Over Sizing Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a different size category than originally posted due to the recalibration.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to examine their items and manually change the size when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Modifications
Earlier, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
User Stories
Frankie Bridger, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, from Glasgow, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Platform Context
The platform boasts over 100 million members, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: earlier, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options after backlash from users.
